Greetings and well-met adventurer Are you prepared to embark on a fantastic journey to lands unknown?
Role-playing games are designed to transport us to a world of fantasy and adventure. Through shared storytelling and world-building, players and their characters set out to explore exotic locations, fascinating people, and solve complex puzzles.
Extraordinary Expeditions is a collection of adventures that will do just that. Scour the Desolate Wastelands for the lost library of Zenith Athenaeum. Save, escort, and protect villagers to a safe haven while two towering titans do battle. Venture into a village completely overrun by monstrous creatures from the Far Realm.
These modular adventures are designed on a flexible framework to be easily tossed into any fantasy setting. Broken down into a more free-form design allows you to run them with little prep or easily toss in your own personal homebrew touches to make it your own.
This book is designed to work with not only official 5e monsters but also features monsters from Kobold Press’s Tome of Beasts and Crit Academy’s Memorable Monsters. Don’t worry, if you don’t have the books, you’ll still be able to run the adventures. The necessary stat blocks will be included right inside the adventures. Or you can choose to include your own monstrous creations.
Do you hear that? It’s the call of adventure Now go, explore unknown lands and create great memories with friends.
Inside you will find:
Extraordinary Expeditions is a collaboration brought to you by the best-selling authors at Crit Academy and Arjade Productions. In it, you will find ten flexible adventures, one for each of the first ten levels. These adventures are written in such a way, that you can easily scale them to any level. Each expedition is designed to be flexible by breaking them into four parts. We include overviews of each section of the adventure so the DM can read through quickly to get a full understanding of the contents of the adventure. Additionally, features of the areas, tactics, and other notable elements stand out for easy reference. Monster stat blocks are located in each adventure so there is no need to constantly flip back to the appendix. In addition to wonderful artwork and maps, we also feature monsters from our favorite creator, Kobold Press
