It’s been a significant stretch since my last post here, and you might be wondering what’s been keeping me away. The past few months have been a whirlwind, filled with both the expected and the unexpected. Let me bring you up to speed on where I’ve been and what I’ve been up to.
Holiday Seasons
The end-of-year festivities were as busy as they were joyous. Time meant for writing and gaming was redirected towards family, friends, and the myriad traditions that make the season special. While it pulled me away from my usual activities, the warmth and connection were invigorating.
Becoming a Game Master at Home
Amidst the holiday cheer, I dove headfirst into a new challenge: hosting and running a tabletop game at home. This new role has been a thrilling journey, offering a fresh perspective on storytelling and game dynamics, enriching my love for tabletop role-playing games.
Preparing for Remote Adventures
Beyond the confines of my living room, I’ve embarked on organizing a remote game for colleagues, a task that involves juggling various time zones and individual schedules to create a cohesive and engaging online TTRPG experience. This isn’t just any game, though; the players will be immersed in my homebrew world of Epica, a realm that has been meticulously developed through my solo adventures with Blyris Bledstone. Venturing into Epica with others promises to be an exciting exploration of a world that’s grown close to my heart, offering a rich tapestry of lore and mystery for my colleagues to unravel.
Crafting Worlds and Adventures: The Elemental Arcanum
Embarking on a new chapter in my creative journey, I’ve delved into developing a sourcebook and adventure based on my world of Epica, titled “The Vaults of the Elemental Arcanum – Sourcebook” and its accompanying adventure, “The Vaults of the Elemental Arcanum: The Chromatic Covenant.” Aimed at taking characters from levels 1 through 6, these works are more than just game manuals—they are invitations to Game Masters and players alike to immerse themselves in a realm where the primal forces of nature aren’t just backdrops but are central to every storyline, encounter, and quest.
This sourcebook serves as a foundational guide, equipping Game Masters with comprehensive tools and knowledge to create captivating adventures within Epica. At its core, the concept of Elemental Alignment challenges and enriches traditional gameplay, intertwining the elements with the fabric of the narrative, environment, and the very magic that characters wield. This system is designed to elevate the gaming experience, promoting a deep, thoughtful exploration of the elements’ interconnectedness and their critical role in the world’s balance of power. Through “The Vaults of the Elemental Arcanum,” I aspire to bring to life a richly woven tapestry of lore, offering a new dimension of adventure that awaits within the mystical world of Epica.
Home Organizational Marathon
On a more personal note, I’ve dedicated a considerable amount of time to decluttering and reorganizing my space. This “spring cleaning” was long overdue and has set a refreshing tone for the new year.

Amidst all this, I’ve been quietly pouring my heart and soul into a new album. It’s been a labor of love, combining new ideas with my signature style, and I’m beyond excited to share more about it with you very soon. Stay tuned for an official announcement!
