Aurumos is engulfed in a perpetual haze of smog, obscuring the skies with a sickly pallor. Once-crystalline rivers now flow with poisoned waters, devoid of their once-teeming aquatic life. The scarred landscape bears witness to towering smokestacks and decaying machinery, reminders of House Obsidian’s insatiable thirst for power and control.

The inhabitants of Aurumos suffer the consequences of their ancestors’ relentless pursuit of industry and expansion. The polluted air inflicts respiratory ailments upon the population, while the barren terrain offers little solace from the scars of industrialization. The moon’s fragile ecosystem teeters on the brink of extinction, a casualty of House Obsidian’s ruthless ambition.

Aurumos stands as a somber testament to the steep price paid for House Obsidian’s dominance. It fuels their deep-seated resentment towards their rivals, House Maestoso. House Obsidian views House Maestoso, located on the neighboring moon of Sonatara, as a formidable competitor.

Their intense rivalry is rooted in House Maestoso’s secondary domain of Political Workers. House Obsidian perceives House Maestoso’s political influence and maneuvering as a direct challenge to their industrial might and their vision for dominance. The competition between the two houses extends beyond the physical realm, encompassing political machinations and power struggles.

This fierce competition fuels House Obsidian’s determination to outshine and overpower House Maestoso at every opportunity. The polluted moon of Aurumos serves as a constant reminder of this ongoing struggle. House Obsidian strives to assert their control and supremacy over their rival, driven by a burning desire to secure their place as the dominant force within the Imperium.
