The True OSR – Obsolete Shitty Rules, a parodic and extreme RPG about the Old School genre that we all love so much.
Get ready for adventures on the edge of absurdity, to travel across worlds and genres, and to relive the worst situations that can happen at a gaming table when badass and/or egotistical players meet clumsy and/or treacherous masters – of course, through irony.
This is your chance to get the revenge you deserve: whether you are a player or a master, you will have the opportunity to take victory over your counterpart by defeating them and making them pay for it for all the years and years of abuse! Think about it: next time you go back home and your mother will ask you “who won?”, you’ll finally reply ME!
The purpose of OSR (I will say it openly for those who have difficulty with subtexts) is to bring a good mood and mock some typical toxic and negative behaviors of our environment alas.
Bullying, gatekeeping, unpleasant and unwelcome behaviors deserve only to be mocked and ridiculed, exactly what we wanna do with this game. However, as a general rule, I advise you never to take anything written in a book that talks about hellish creatures, vengeful deities, and ancient miraculous rituals too seriously.
