How do you take out 28 werewolves in one single action? If you’ve ever seen the classic 80’s horror movie The Howling you might know how. But what if you’ve never seen this movie, yet to your advantage, you accidentally do that very thing? That’s what my friend Brandon did when he came to my house to play a bit of D&D about 3 weeks ago.
Hopefully in the near future, you’ll hear more of that story in a new post series I’m calling The Follies of Guy Hero. But it’s taking some real time to edit the narrative for what happened in our first session, and it’s pretty wild…. so, stay tuned for that.
Otherwise, March was pretty quiet here. When I first launched this site, you may have noticed that a TON of content was posted and then after the first week of March it seemed to just stop. Well, I had a bit of extra time in February when I first started this whole thing, but in March I was pretty darn busy with work and life. But don’t fear, I actually have quite a bit in the works. I just wanted to take a moment and let you know I haven’t stopped.
I’m also eager to get back to my solo game Blyris Bledstone’s Menagerie of Curiosities. I have so many great ideas for that game, but I just need to find time to roll some dice. I miss it already.
Additionally, The Society of the Green Feather met last Wednesday to begin Waterdeep: Dungeon of the Mad Mage in our campaign. We are also testing the use of AboveVTT moving forward instead of Roll 20. I’ll try to do an Investigation Check of AboveVTT after we get a few sessions under our belt.
Till Next Time!
The Old Bard.
